Jessie
Badminton Player · 24 y.o.
01 - Motivation
Jesse is an amateur badminton player. She needs an app where she can find all the information about upcoming tournaments in her city. She was tired of constantly searching for tournaments on the Internet.
02 - Expectations
Convenient tournament calendar with filtering by rating, tournament star rating and city. It is important for her to get comprehensive information on the tournament page in order to make a decision to participate in this tournament or continue the search.
Charley
Badminton Referee · 42 y.o.
01 - Motivation
Charlie is a professional badminton referee. He is often invited to judge tournaments and he needs to declare participants for the tournament and form draws. He was tired of keeping all the information on paper.
02 - Expectations
A convenient software, in which he can easily declare participants for the tournament and form draws according to the required parameters. Possibility to download the protocol of the tournament in PDF after the end of the tournament.
Space Racket Center
Badminton Tournament Organizer
01 - Motivation
Space Racket Center is the organizer of tournaments. They need a service where they can publish their upcoming tournaments and easily recruit the required number of participants for their tournaments.
02 - Expectations
The software where the organizer can easily enter all the necessary information about the tournament and publish it on the service visited by badminton players. They also want functionality that allows them to give access to editing the tournament to the chief referee.
Madison
Badminton Fan · 32 y.o.
01 - Motivation
Madison is a big fan of badminton. She needs an app where she can keep track of her favorite players, their rankings, and get the latest information on tournament progress. She tired of constantly searching for information on the web.
02 - Expectations
A convinient tournament page where she can receive live scores as they happen. The players page, where she can filter players by rating and country, as well as the player's profile, where she can see his statistics and the results of recent games.
At the UX research stage, we also created a path along which the prototype of the application user performs tasks. Our user flow goes from the entry point through a series of steps to a successful outcome and final action.
On the tournament page, the user will be able to get acquainted with the full information about the tournament, the declared players and the generated grids. The intermediate results of the games can be tracked online, and after the end of the tournament, a list with the final results will appear on the page.
In the personal account, the user will be able to change the phone number used to log in to the application, select one or more roles (player / referee / organizer), and view all the tournaments in which he participated.
The minimalistic ordering interface helps the user to solve their tasks quickly. When developing, we always focus on the convenience of the end customer.
